Chapter Y
Garrett attends Montgomery Academy and is planning on attending University of Alabama this fall.
Chapter Y
Garrett is an example of a well balanced student who makes the time to help others. She has stepped up into many leadership positions this year. She has dealt with disappointment as many programs she was scheduled to participate in were cancelled this summer. However, she is still optimistic that everyone can make a difference. She is serving as captain of her volleyball team, vice president of the student government, president of the H.E.A.R.T. club, member of the Youth Leadership Team and more. Her heart is in helping her community. She speaks enthusiastically about the time she spent last summer volunteering in the ICU of a local hospital. Due to COVID, that was not able to happen this year. Amidst all the disappointments that are being handed her way, she overcomes those with creatively finding ways to help others thrive during this pandemic. She is a woman with a mission and the heart, drive and determination to achieve it!
