Elena Adams is from Prattville, Alabama.  Her parents are Kim and Phil Adams, and she is third of six siblings. She attended public school until her last two years, spend at Edgewood Academy, a private school in Elmore County.  She is a senior at Cottey College, working on her undergraduate degree in health and biomedical sciences with an expected graduation date of May 2026.  Elena enjoys helping others and is passionate about her future in healthcare.  Having always loved school, she wants to get a great education that she can apply to the rest of her life order to help others. Her goal is to obtain her master’s and become a Physician Assistant, after which she hopes to work in an emergency room and assist in surgeries.  Elena plays volleyball at Cottey and also enjoys clubs like the pickleball club and STEM club.  She loves lifeguarding at the YMCA and being part of the community both at home and in Nevada.  Elena loves meeting new people and bringing smiles to people’s faces.  One of her favorite things now is coming back home to warm weather to see her friends and family.

(She loves all chocolate candy bars, gummy bears, Ruffles and Pringles potato chips, and chocolate chip granola bars.)  It would be neat if chapters sent her easy meal ideas they could do in a crockpot or on a hot plate. They don’t have an oven or stove, so the recipes would have to be simple.
